It have found in my studies these last 16 plus years that all roads in the search for truth behind the "Jesus Story" all lead to Egypt eventually. If you will take the time to read this article then beyond any doubt you will see the prototypes for the later "Jesus Story" originated with the Osiris and Horus myths which themselves were but personifications of the path of the Sun and Moon in the Heavens above along with further personifications of the laws and cycles of Mother Nature as observed by Ancient Egyptian sages and Pharaohs for thousands of years prior to the time depicted for the New Testament Jesus.
Answer for yourself: Is the New Testament Jesus but a retelling of the Osiris and Horus myths as taken from Ancient Egyptian observations of the Sun and other movements of orbs in the Heavens as well as forces and powers operating in Mother Nature?
Answer for yourself: Can the "Jesus Story" be found today on the walls of Egyptian temples; in particular the Temple of Luxor?
John G. Jackson, in Christianity Before Christ, 1985, pp. 43-46,
cites Gerald Massey in Ancient Egypt: Light
of
the World, Vol. II, p. 757 [London, T. Fisher Unwin, 1907], as
providing information concerning the mythical elements of an
annunciation, an immaculate
conception, a virgin birth, and an adoration as presented as consecutive
engravings on the inner walls of Temple of Luxor, in Luxor, Egypt, from
the time of King Amenhotep III (1538-1501 B.C.).
Answer for yourself: What is so important about this discovery? This is the same story identically to the accounts of the nativity concerning Jesus as depicted in our New Testaments.
The engravings of the Temple walls of Luxor are presented as four scenes in consecutive order describing the birth of the Egyptian god, Horus, the son of Osiris.
John Jackson, in presenting Gerald Massey's account from Ancient Egypt: Light of the World, Vol. II, p. 757, states that we have basically 4 scenes depicted on the wall of the Temple of Luxor:
But Gerald Massey is not the only person who has found this ancient "Jesus Story" because Samuel Sharpe in Egyptian Mythology and Egyptian Christianity, 1879, p. 19, states:
In this [set of engravings] we have the Annunciation, the Conception, the Birth, and [the] Adoration as described in the first and second chapter of Luke's Gospel ...
Answer for yourself: What should we learn from this? Namely that the scenes described and carved on these Egyptian walls are the original source of mythical elements of the Horus myth as well as the later "Jesus Story" which is but a retelling of the same mythos as handed down for thousands of years.
Answer for yourself: How extensive are other parallels to the "Jesus Story" that can be found in the Osiris and Horus myths of Egypt?

As you can see the Egyptian Horus myth and its mystical elements of annunciation, immaculate impregnation, birth, and adoration are similar to the mythical elements of the early life of Jesus found in the Jesus myth.
Jackson, in Christianity Before Christ, pp. 96-109, describes the Egyptian Horus myth as connected to the Egyptian Osiris myth:
The mythology and symbolism relative to Osiris and Horus is rather complicated ... In ancient Egypt the kings were gods; the living king was the Horus and the dead king was the Osiris.
Jackson, in Christianity Before Christ, p. 96, cites a Professor Hocart as saying the following:
Osiris, after his death, became a king in the underworld ... and from his dead body his successor, Horus, is conceived. But every dead king is Osiris and every living king Horus. Thus Osiris and Horus are really the same, Horus being the living form of Osiris, an Osiris the dead form of Horus. There is thus a succession of men who are killed, become gods, and are succeeded by their posthumous sons.... (A. M. Hocart, Social Origins, London, Watts and Co., 1954, pp. 79-82.)
Answer for yourself: Is the above understanding of Osiris and Horus the origin for a most famous passage in the New Testament?
John 10:30 30 I and my Father are one. (KJV)
The reigning kings of Egypt were believed to be incarnations of Horus who was but Osiris reborn. Jackson, p. 109, states that the resurrection of Osiris is depicted by bas-reliefs (stone carvings on the a wall or a side of an altar, a statue, etc.) of the walls of a Temple of Osiris a Denderah, Egypt, in which Osiris is presented
Jackson also states that another Osiris resurrection is depicted at the Temple of Isis in Philae, Egypt, upon which is this inscription: "This is the form of him whom one may not name, Osiris of the Mysteries (myths), who springs from the returning waters."
Again, we must never forget that the Osiris myth resurrection scenes described are literally carved in stone on the walls of the Temple of Osiris at Denderah and the Temple of Isis at Philae and stand as original sources of mythical elements of the Osiris myth which is again the source for the later "Jesus Story".

Answer for yourself: Well we have seen enough to make a "thinking believer" rethink the "Jesus Story" or at least do some serious study into how we got this story in the first place. I have done these studies for over 16 years and feel impressed to inform other brothers and sisters of this plagiarism who are still bewitched by the falsehoods in Rome's Bible which we inherited. My advice to any seeker of truth is to learn the hidden mystical meanings behind these Egyptian myths and discover the glorious Divine Truths hidden within them that the Ancients spiritualist and sages of Egypt understood and which today we have seriously misinterpreted and understood by projecting a "literalistic" interpretation of them as we were taught as Christians who looked at the "Jesus Story" as factual history. Nothing could be more from the truth.
With this many parallels to the Jesus myth, and I didn't refer to the whole 200 of them that Gerald Massey attest, as found in Egyptian/Assyrian-Babylonian myths, the chances are excellent that the "Jesus Story" is nothing more than a tragic misinterpretation of Ancient Divine Truths that has lost their meaning completely to us today. I suggest that one begin a serious study of Egypt, its religion, the proper interpretation of this religion, and then trace its evolution as we find today in Biblical and Rabbinic Judaism. Then you will have the peace you seek and the answers for the doubts and questions surrounding the "Jesus Story".
An unbiased study of History will show you that there is not a shred of legitimate historical evidence anywhere that the Jesus Story originated as the biography of a man named Jesus, and quite a lot of evidence exits to prove the opposite (or should I say the lack of evidence). An unbiased through study of Comparative Religion will reveal to you that the basic plot of the Jesus Story, from beginning to end, including the motif of a crucified savior, already existed in many other religions thousands of years prior to the alleged time of Jesus and if you continue such dedicated studies into Astronomy and Solar Mythology you will find that beyond any doubt the "Jesus Story" is nothing more than an allegory for what would naturally be the oldest and most important story humans would notice and write down, that of the annual passage of the seasons of the year and the path of the Sun through the celestial sphere and the 12 Houses of the Zodiac during the year. Personification of the Sun through the sky as found in the story of ancient solar and lunar gods follow in chronological procession through the year the exact chronology of the "Jesus Story" when personified from Matthew chapter 1 through then end of the book.
As an educated man to believe that this is but "coincidence" stretches belief beyond limits of saneness. Besides any serious study of Egypt will show you that this "Jesus Story" existed on 2 levels: the Mystical and the Mythical....only later will Rome come and reinterpret these Divine Truths and forge them into a Historical time line with a fictitious person and in so doing destroy the Ancient truths and Divine Revelation given the Ancients who first developed these "religious doctrines" in the first place. So when you see this, and I mean all of this, then sadly there is no room for a "Historical Jesus". Yet to teach these truths of ethics and morality that is found in the "mind of Christ" to the Gentiles due to the preconditioning of a Jesus-centric faith into which we are born it is necessary to teach through the vehicle of this "Jesus" and in so doing slowly begin to widen the scope of the reader's learning and gradually introduce him to these other concepts and origins of the "Mystical and Mythical" Christ and slowly expose the Historical Jesus for what he is; namely, just an allegory which was later literalized and forged in Rome's New Testament in their grand scheme of replacement religion. So Egypt is destroyed today but her children and her truths live among her children, the Jewish nation and Biblical and Rabbinic Judaism. For me if you want to find the Messiah to come and the mind of such a one like whom this "Jesus" was made to represent, a Divine Concept within us, then we begin to look at Egypt and Judaism for only in Judaism and in Egypt do we find "the mind of Egyptian Karast (Krst)" who is the original Christ, and that the Egyptian mysteries were continued by the gnostic Christians and the authentic Paul who only wrote 7 epistles. Poor Paul for he is tragically misrepresented today and I on other sites have taken him to task severely but understand the Paul I oppose is again the "false Paul", the non-Gnostic Paul, who again Rome created and substituted their replacement religion for the true faith of the early gnostic Jews and gnostic Gentiles. Only later do we find that these metaphysical concepts coming down through recorded history from Egypt were destroyed when "literalized" and "Christianized" in Rome and their "version" of the New Testament which replaced the original and First New Testament of the gnostics. This as I see it today is the whole truth, and nothing but the truth as discovered by serious study on my part these last 16 plus years. Now you can see why I had to resign my Pastorate at my mega-church and begin Bet Emet Ministries; someone has to tell the truth, someone has to do these necessary study and someone has to make it available to all and not sell a different version of it Sunday after Sunday.
